Backing Tracks for Musicians
Here at Backing Tracks for Bands we offer top quality backing tracks for musicians that are downloadable in an MP3 format. All of our tracks come with a left side click and the track music on the right channel. They’re pro tracks and I have used many of them myself onstage with the different bands and musicians that I play with from time to time. If you require some different format for your tracks, for example a right side click instead of left, simply contact us here at the website and we should be able to accommodate you. You can access our tracks by clicking on downloadable backing tracks.
The backing tracks offered here are available in different tunings as well. I personally find that it can be very confusing to talk about what key a particular song is in etc, as it often depends on the original tuning being used anyways. So in an effort to make things easier we’ve generally made up the tracks for each song to be performed in two tunings. The two tunings we use are A440 and E-flat. There is the occasional song on the
site that is pitched down one full step from A440 as well. If you require a different tuning for the song you’ve purchased then simply send us an e-mail and we can adjust the pitch of the backing track up or down as you require in half step increments at no charge.

All of our backing tracks for musicians are in the same format in that the click is on the left side, and the music is on the right. Some of the songs, but not all, have vocal cues on the left side as well to help let you know where you are in the song. There’s a standard 8 count count-in, and many of the songs have count outs as well, although I only generally put the count outs and cues on a track if I feel that I personally require them for some reason.
Some of the tracks have backing vocals included on them as well. Once again this is pretty much done on the basis of whether or not I personally felt the need for backing vocal to be on a track when I used them. I believe there is a line between using backing tracks to help enhance the professionalism of your show, and doing a full on Karaoke show. With that in mind, the tracks on this site are tracks that offer the “missing”
instruments. They're primarily geared for bands that have a vocalist ,bassist, guitarist, and drummer, but need the occasional keyboard backing track or horn shots etc. I don’t tend to put guitar on the tracks unless it’s a quiet acoustic guitar. This helps to both fill in the sound for the band doing the performance, but helps to keep the show real at the same time.
Give our backing tracks a try to see how much better your band can sound today. You’ll be amazed at the possibilities that open up in terms of what songs you can do. You can now do anything you can get a track
for and it will sound complete and accurate.
